Bag Care Guide

Simple care helps protect the material, shape, straps, and hardware of your Mariqueño bag.

DO'S

  • Wipe off dust and dirt with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • For nylon bags, you may use wipes for simple cleaning. Wipe gently and let the bag air-dry.
  • Keep makeup, pens, food, and liquids inside separate pouches to prevent stains and spills.
  • Stuff the bag with clean paper when not in use to help maintain its shape.
  • Store it upright in a dust bag and keep the straps in their natural position.
  • Keep the bag in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.

DON'TS

  • Do not pull, stretch, or tug the handles and straps too hard. Keep sharp nails and objects away from the surface. Deep scratches, cuts, or peeled vegan leather cannot be fully repaired.
  • Do not overload the bag. The recommended maximum weight is 2 to 3 kilograms. It may carry more, but extra weight can shorten its life and strain the handles, seams, and hardware.
  • Do not soak the bag or leave it wet for a long time.
  • Do not wash it in a washing machine or scrub it with a hard brush.
  • Do not use alcohol, bleach, or strong cleaners on vegan leather. These may damage or discolor the surface.
  • Do not leave the bag under direct sunlight or near heat for long periods. Heat may cause fading, drying, or cracking.

If Your Bag Gets Wet

  1. 1 Wipe off the water immediately with a clean, soft cloth.
  2. 2 Remove the contents and place clean paper inside to absorb moisture and maintain the shape.
  3. 3 Let the bag dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.
  4. 4 Do not use a hair dryer or place the bag under direct sunlight.

Reminder

Light creases and small changes in color are normal with regular use. Always check the bag material before using any cleaning product.
