Shoe Care for Women
Simple care helps protect the material, shape, comfort, and sole of your Mariqueño shoes.
DO'S
- Wipe off dust and dirt after every use with a soft, dry cloth.
- Use Mariqueño Leather Conditioner only on genuine leather parts. Apply a thin layer to keep the leather soft, protected, and shiny.
- For fabric shoes, use a soft brush or a cleaner made for fabric. Test it on a small hidden area first.
- Use shoe trees or clean paper to help maintain their shape.
- Let the shoes rest and air out before wearing them again.
- Store them in a cool, dry place.
DON'TS
- Do not soak the shoes or regularly walk through water. Water can weaken the adhesive and cause the sole to separate.
- Do not pull or stretch the straps and upper too hard. Vegan leather is not as strong as cow leather and may crack or tear.
- Avoid letting your shoes hit or rub against each other while walking. This can scratch or damage the surface.
- Do not wash them in a washing machine.
- Do not use alcohol, bleach, strong cleaners, or wet wipes. Do not use leather conditioner on fabric or vegan leather.
- Do not dry them under direct sunlight or with a hair dryer. Too much heat can damage the material and weaken the adhesive.
If Your Shoes Gets Wet
- 1 Wipe off the water immediately.
- 2 Place clean paper inside to absorb moisture and maintain the shape.
- 3 Let the shoes dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.
- 4 Once fully dry, apply a thin layer of Mariqueño Leather Conditioner only if the affected part is genuine leather.
Reminder
Normal wear may cause light creases or small changes in color. Always check the shoe material before using any cleaning or care product.
